Quadri O. BABATUNDE

Mr. BABATUNDE Quadri is a geotechnical engineer from Oyo State, Nigeria. He completed his Bachelor’s in the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering with a focus on Soil and Water Engineering at the University of Ilorin. Mr. Babatunde gained practical experience through an internship in civil engineering and worked in a construction company before pursuing further studies. Driven by a commitment to sustainability, he pursued his MSc-PhD in Geotechnical Engineering at Kyungpook National University, South Korea. His research objective was to develop eco-friendly cementitious materials, and he presented his findings at various conferences and published scientific papers.

His expertise encompasses geophysics, soil mechanics, soil cementation, biopolymer applications, and data analysis. His proficiency and passion for sustainable solutions have earned him recognition as a valuable research assistant in the esteemed Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Lab at Kyungpook University. Additionally, he has actively engaged with the academic community, reviewing papers for prestigious publishers like Elsevier. Mr. BABATUNDE is a member of several prestigious engineering societies, including the NSE, ASCE, and GI. Mr. BABATUNDE’s exceptional dedication and passion for sustainable geotechnical infrastructure have earned him recognition within the engineering community. His work continues to impact the field’s advancement and future development significantly.
